making room in the hearts & imaginations of the Artist community to be experiencing the love of God and to have that love seen, heard and experienced by people in the church and outside the church through the expression of these Artists . . . that's what happens at our Gatherings
Why care for ARTISTS? We believe God has ordained the Arts, and because He uses people, we believe God designed the Artist to play a central role in sharing the Good News of the love of Jesus to every tribe, every tongue, to every nation. Artists tell the story of God's beauty, truth and goodness in the most compelling way imaginable.
Artist's Table • Artist Guild • Party for the Soul
I love the way God invites us to His table. Jesus seemed to always share life changing truths around a meal. At each of these unique Gatherings that are curated for different audiences, they all share the same desired outcome: that everyone who attends will experience God loving them. It might come through a dinner conversation with the person sitting next to them. It might come through the story of the speaker that evening. It might come through a song shared, the beauty of the table set or a painting created in front of them.
Roy has been curating Artists Gatherings on a local & national level for the last 10 years. A new season of Gatherings are currently being curated for Southern California called The Artist Table, Artist Guild and Party for the Soul. Artists are invited to come together to share a meal and feed each other's souls. These unique times together are filled with inspiration, love, space and the gift of BEING with others like you . . . with artists who are "all in" with the calling God has given them. These Gatherings have proved to be SO vital to the transformational work God does in our hearts as artists, who so often work in isolation and tend to be introverts. To hear and share each others stories, to be encouraged by another artists, to be mentored, pastored, loved & inspired is not normal for most artists, including those who serve both in churches and in the entertainment world.
